There is a big difference between the way American liberals and American conservatives form ideas. Most conservatives (at least the neocons everybody hates) give up their principles when someone important tells them to. It's unbelievable how far right the hivemind has gone because of Fox and corporate media. Liberals are simply not going to do that. The Democrats have transformed themselves into a center-right party, but the progressive base refuses to budge. Fox News would never, ever, ever criticize George Bush with the same scathing ferocity as Olbermann displayed here towards Obama. That's the difference between America's right and left.
