Sam Harris was on The Daily Show last night. He's promoting his new book out today called
The Moral Landscape. I read his other book
The End of Faith this summer, and I really enjoyed it. His new book discusses morality. He believes it's a misconception that religion has a monopoly on morality, and that morals can be explained with science. The guy's a neurologist. He studies the human brain for a living, so he has an idea or two of what he's talking about.
I love it how in every interview I watch with this guy, it's not really a 'discussion' between two people. Rather, everyone else just kind of sits back and watches him talk.
